Mamie Laverock, a 19-year-old actor recognized for her role as Rosaleen Sullivan in the Hallmark Channel series “When Calls the Heart,” is currently fighting for her life after a tragic accident. According to a GoFundMe page organized by her family, Mamie fell five stories from a balcony walkway and is now on life support.

The incident occurred after Mamie spent two weeks in intensive treatment at the hospital due to a medical emergency. She was escorted out of a secure unit and taken to a balcony walkway, where the fall occurred, as detailed on the fundraiser page set up by her parents, Rob and Nicole Compton.

Describing the severity of Mamie’s injuries, her parents wrote, “She sustained life-threatening injuries, has undergone multiple extensive surgeries, and is currently on life support.” They expressed profound devastation and shock, emphasizing the difficulty of the situation.

The GoFundMe campaign reveals that Mamie’s mother, Nicole, rushed to Winnipeg, Canada, on May 11 to assist her daughter with the medical emergency. Nicole’s timely intervention saved Mamie’s life, and she was subsequently transferred to a hospital in Vancouver. While her recovery remains uncertain, Mamie’s parents expressed gratitude that she is alive and showing signs of improvement.

In response to the accident, Hallmark Media issued a statement expressing deep sadness and offering support to Mamie and her family. As a cherished member of the “When Calls the Heart” community, Mamie received well-wishes for peace, comfort, and prayers during this challenging time.

Mamie fell from a balcony on May 26, more than two weeks after her initial hospitalization. Details surrounding her medical emergency are not fully disclosed.
