With only five players left in the Big Brother 25 competition, winning competitions has become crucial. The Power of Veto (POV) is now just as important as the Head of Household (HOH).
In the recent double eviction, Blue Kim and America Lopez were evicted, leaving Cirie Fields, Felicia Cannon, Bowie Jane Ball, Jagateshwar “Jag” Bains, and Matt Klotz remaining.
After the live episode, Cirie and Matt discussed the upcoming HOH competition, with Matt expressing that he wouldn’t nominate the four-time Survivor legend for eviction.
Matt ultimately won the HOH competition, marking his first time holding the title. He has been closely aligned with Jag and Bowie Jane, and has a final-two deal with Jag as part of their “Minutemen” alliance.
As planned, Matt nominated Cirie and Felicia for eviction during the nomination ceremony. However, everyone knew that the POV competition could potentially change the outcome.
In the POV competition, which took place on Saturday afternoon, all remaining houseguests participated. The winner would have a significant impact on the nominations.
If Cirie or Felicia won, one of them would come off the block, and Matt would need to choose a replacement nominee. If one of Matt’s allies won, the nominations would likely stay the same.
In a turn of events, Jag emerged as the winner of the Power of Veto. This marks his sixth POV win in Big Brother 25 and his eighth overall victory. It’s highly likely that Jag will choose not to use the POV, keeping Matt’s nominations intact. Jag recently made a secret final-two pact with Bowie Jane, and using the POV could potentially jeopardize that alliance.
