The core idea of the series, which is as follows, is anticipated to be developed: “A local high school is overrun with zombies as a result of a failed science experiment, and the trapped students struggle to survive. With no food or water and communication cut off by the government, they must use the school’s equipment to protect themselves amid a battleground, or they will become infected.”
The director of the programme seems to want to focus more on the zombies, which is precisely what the viewers are hoping to see in the upcoming season, according to recent sources. Director Lee Jae-kyoo stated in an interview with The Korea Herald that he planned to do a second season of this zombie series before All of Us Are Dead was renewed for a second season back on June 6, 2022. For clarification on what the director said, see the quote below:
“Many directions, settings, and scenes were intentionally produced to expand the story into an additional season, including the introduction of the new race of zombies – immune and immortal,” director Lee Jae-kyoo told The Korean Herald. Further adding, “If the first season can be seen as having presented humanity’s survival, the next season can talk about the survival of the zombies. I hope to present viewers with another season.
