UK to deploy Royal Navy ships to show their support to Israel

The United Kingdom has decided to send their Royal Navy to support Israel. It will also be sending aircraft for the purpose of patrol and surveillance to the eastern Mediterranean.

Maritime patrol and surveillance aircraft will begin flying in the region tomorrow in order “to track threats to regional stability.”

A Royal Navy task group will be moved to the area next week as a contingency measure to support humanitarian efforts in Israel, as the country is dealing with one of deadly attacks ever faced by them in past few decades.

Israel has been increasing their airstrikes on Gaza strip, which had attacked the country’s southern region, over the weekend. Hamas, which controls the Gaza strip, had infiltrated its border and fired barrage of rockets.
