Abel started a tour of Toronto, with his first live performance at the city’s Mod Club venue and later on he remixed “Drunk in Love”, a single by Beyoncé from her studio album. In 2018, Abel released his own Marvel comic book titled Starboy based on his image. Abel also made his film debut in the 2019 movie Uncut Gems.

In 2015, The Weeknd originally fell in love with Bella Hadid, a renowned Palestinian-American model. However, the two eventually split up. They had lived a very nice life together, but things became worse with time.
