Squid Game’ Surges to Netflix Top 10, Claims No. 1 Spot; Adam Sandler’s ‘Leo’ Achieves Record-Breaking Animated Film Debut

“Squid Game: The Challenge” led the Netflix Top 10 English TV List with 20.1 million views in its initial five days, driving a resurgence in interest for the original “Squid Game,” which secured the No. 6 spot on the Non-English list with 1.6 million views.

The animated film “Leo,” featuring Adam Sandler as the voice of a lizard named Leo, debuted as the most-watched English film with 34.6 million views within its first six days, setting a record as the most-viewed Netflix animated film during its opening week.

The Crown” Season 6 secured the No. 2 spot on the English-TV list, accumulating a total of 8.8 million views in its first 11 days of availability, based on the first four episodes. The remaining six episodes are set to release on Dec. 14.

“All the Light We Cannot See” held the fourth position with 3.3 million total views in its fourth week on the Top 10 chart. This series was followed by Matt Rife’s “Natural Selection” special, which received 2.9 million views despite generating some controversy.

“Young Sheldon” entered the list after arriving on Netflix, accumulating 2.1 million views in its first three days, securing the sixth position. “First Wives Club” and “Scott Pilgrim Takes Off” grabbed the No. 8 and No. 7 spots, respectively, with 1.7 million and 2 million views each.

Additionally, the list featured other titles such as “Cocomelon,” “Escaping Twin Flames,” and “Mike Birbiglia: The Old Man and the Pool” with various view counts.
