SPY×FAMILY Code: White Film Unveils Trailer with HiGE DANdism’s Latest Theme Song



The official website for the SPY×FAMILY anime has revealed a new trailer and poster visual for the Gekijōban SPY×FAMILY Code: White film. The trailer introduces and previews the theme song “Soulsoup” created by the band Official HiGE DANdism for the film. The band also performed the first opening theme song for the anime’s first season.


The film is set to be released on December 22 and will feature an original story. Original manga creator Tatsuya Endō is credited with the original work and original character designs for the film, and is also supervising the film’s production. WIT STUDIO and CloverWorks are once again in charge of animation.

Takashi Katagiri is directing the film, and Ichiro Okouchi is the scriptwriter. Kazuaki Shimada is the character designer, and Kana Ishida is the sub-character designer. Kyoji Asano is the chief animation director and also drew the poster visual. Kazuhiro Furuhashi is the animation supervisor. [K]NoW_NAME is the music producer, and Shōji Hata is the sound director.

New cast members for the film include Tomoya Nakamura as Dmitri, Kento Kaku as Luka, Banjou Ginga as Snijder, and Shunsuke Takeuchi as Type F.

The SPY×FAMILY anime’s second season premiered on October 7. It is being broadcasted on various channels including TV Tokyo, TV Osaka, TV Aichi, TV Setouchi, TV Hokkaido, and TVQ Kyushu Broadcasting.

Viz Media is publishing Tatsuya Endō’s original manga in English. The story follows a master spy, Twilight, who receives an impossible assignment: to get married and have a child. He then embarks on a mission to infiltrate an elite private school, not knowing that his chosen wife is an assassin and the adopted child is a telepath.
