Senator Joe Manchin attacked President Joe Biden in a vow to mobilize the “radical middle.”
“Joe Biden has been pulled so far to the left, the extreme left, as far as liberal,” claimed Manchin to radio host John Catsimatidis Sunday on ‘The Cats Roundtable’ on WABC 770 AM. He added that it makes no sense, as it is not the person the people thought will bring the country together.
He also asserted that the current political polarization is dividing Washington.
Manchin said that Washington wants the people to be divided, because it is a better business model for them. “So, I came to the conclusion I can’t change – I’ve been here 13 years. I’m not going to change it from within. And I’ve decide[d] to go around and see if I can mobilize the radical middle,” he said.
Last week, Manchin had said that he won’t be seeking reelection to the Senate, and noted that he would “absolutely” think about running for the presidential elections.
He also expressed that he is considering to leave the Democratic Party.
