Although there may be numerous evil spirits in The Conjuring, we were unaware that Kenergy was also present. Even while Ryan Gosling’s involvement in the horror film might seem strange at first, it really fits right into the actor’s brand as the Barbie cast member.
Paranormal investigators Ed (Patrick Wilson) and Lorraine Warren (Vera Farmiga) are the subjects of one of the finest horror films, The Conjuring, which came out in 2013. A startling series of events unfold as a family asks for their assistance in locating a sinister presence in their home. Moreover, Weird Barbie is not an ominous presence, before you ask.
The Conjuring has an 86% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, and many reviewers concur that it is one of the finest ghost films to come out in recent years, making Ryan Gosling’s involvement in the picture appear all the more unlikely.
Gosling doesn’t really play a character in The Conjuring, but his band, Dead Man’s Bones, has a song called “In The Room Where You Sleep” on the soundtrack.
Gosling plays the piano for Dead Man’s Bones, Zach Shields plays the guitar, and Flea from the Red Hot Chilli Peppers founded the Silverlake Conservatory Children’s Choir.
Given that Gosling and Shield are both fans of Disney’s The Haunted Mansion, which they discovered when they first met in 2005, their inclusion on the soundtrack to The Conjuring really makes a lot of sense. However, the song doesn’t come close to “I’m Just Ken.”
