Real Housewives of New Jersey alum Lauren Manzo’s husband, Vito Scalia, has reportedly filed for divorce after eight years of marriage.
As reported by The Sun, Vito has filed for divorce from Lauren, who is the daughter of Bravo star Caroline Manzo, on September 5, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split.
The document obtained by the news agency read that the parties have irreconcilable differences for the past six months and do not see any reason to move ahead with reconciliation, stated Scalia.
Lauren was served the legal paperwork on September 29, with her attorney informing the court days later that he would representing her and will look after all her financial decisions, including without limitation, alimony, equitable distribution and counsel fees.
The pair had been married for around eight years. They had tied the knot in a Bravo-filmed wedding in 2015, and were engaged two years prior to that. They also share a daughter together, named Markie, born in February 2017.
Earlier, the speculation were that the pair has been going through rough patch, however the rumours were squashed by Lauren with a picture of her husband on Instagram.
