Based on Jennifer E. Smith’s 2011 novel The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight, Vanessa Caswill and Katie Lovejoy’s forthcoming romantic comedy Love at First Sight will be released in the United States. Ben Hardy, Dexter Fletcher, Rob Delaney, Sally Phillips, Jameela Jamil, Haley Lu Richardson, and others appear in it.
The movie, starring Haley Lu Richardson and Ben Hardy, centres on the chance meeting of strangers Hadley and Oliver on a trip from New York to London. Sparks fly as fate spins its narrative, but when they arrive, the airport’s pandemonium threatens to sever their relationship.
The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight, which was first released in 2013 by Little, Brown Books for Young Readers, was well-received by critics. The New York Times called it “a gorgeous, heartwarming reminder of the power of fate.” This intriguing tale will now be presented on film, enticing viewers to accept the astonishing possibilities of fate and love.

This project is directed by Little Women miniseries’ brilliant director Vanessa Caswill, and the screenplay is written by To All the Boys: Always and Forever screenwriter Katie Lovejoy. The movie is part of ACE, the production firm behind the much anticipated young adult film Hello, Goodbye and Everything in Between, and Netflix.
