A suspect has been arrested after three people were shot and injured at the State Fair of Texas, according to Dallas police.
The incident took place on Saturday at around 7.45 pm at the state fairgrounds.
Police stated they received a report of an active shooter in the food court arena in the tower building, prompting an evacuation of fair visitors.
A man pulled a gun and shot at another man, Dallas police told WFAA. Amid his gunfire, three people were hit but their injuries were not life threatening.
The news agency reports that the shooter fled from the police but was soon taken into custody. His identity has not been released.
Authorities have informed that the gun involved in the shooting has also been recovered.
A video, making rounds on the internet, obtained by KSAT, shows chaos as fairgoers rushed to leave the park after reports of the shooting surfaced.
