Keke Palmer is seeking police protection against her ex-boyfriend Darius Jackson, accusing him of physical and emotional abuse.
The actress has filed for a temporary restraining order in Los Angeles on Thursday in conjunction with requesting sole legal and physical custody of their 8-month-old son, Leodis “Leo”.
As per the reports of Page Six, the court documents alleged that there were “many instances of physical violence” with Jackson, which included “destroying [her] personal property,” “throwing [her] car keys to prevent [her] from driving,” “hitting [her] in front [their] son,” “threatening to kill himself with a gun if [she] left him,” “throwing [her] belongings into the street,” “spewing profanities about [her] to [their] son,” “harassment,” and “other physical and emotional abuse.”
The pair were together for two months before calling it quits last month. The ‘Nope’ star claims to have security footage from as recently as November 5, which allegedly shows the college athlete-turned- fitness trainer trespassing into her home without her knowledge or consent.
She wishes for him to complete a 52-week batterer intervention program.
