Kat Dennings Ties the Knot with ‘Party Hard’ Singer Andrew W.K.: A Surprise Marriage Announcement

Actress Kat Dennings, known for her role in “Two Broke Girls,” and musician Andrew W.K., famous for his hit “Party Hard,” recently tied the knot, sharing their wedding details in a feature in Vogue. The couple, aged 37 and 44 respectively, opened up about their relationship, describing it as a serendipitous encounter that led to an instant connection.

According to Dennings, their bond solidified around three years ago when Andrew visited her. It was during that visit that an unplanned proposal occurred – both of them proposing to each other simultaneously in the kitchen, symbolizing their deep mutual affection and understanding.

Their wedding, which happened on November 27, was an intimate affair held at their residence in Los Angeles. Although they contemplated various venues, they settled on their kitchen, which held sentimental significance due to the memorable proposal. The ceremony was attended by a small group of about 15 close friends, including actors Macaulay Culkin and Brenda Song.

To share their joy, Dennings took to Instagram, posting heartwarming pictures of their marriage, expressing gratitude to Vogue and photographer Jose Villa.

Despite being a self-planned event, the couple was content with the outcome. Dennings admitted that organizing everything independently had its challenges, particularly with the floral arrangements requiring three days of continuous effort. However, standing alongside Andrew under an arch she had created herself, imbued with their shared dedication, the experience felt truly special and aligned with their vision for the day.

Reflecting on the wedding, Dennings expressed contentment with their decision, despite the challenges they faced in orchestrating the event. The personal touch and the effort they put into every detail made their wedding day uniquely theirs, emphasizing the depth of their commitment and love for each other.
