The mother – daughter duo making their rounds in New York City.
Kaia Gerber and Cindy Crawford attended the 74th National Book Awards at Cipriani Wall Street on Wednesday. Before heading into the venue, the actress, 22, and her supermodel mother, 57, posed on the red carpet flaunting their neutral-toned wardrobe choices.
Kaia looked chic as she donned a strapless brown floor-length dress. The top portion of her garb looked to be a leather band while the rest of the gown appeared to be suede. Meanwhile, Crawford kept it classy in her ivory pantsuit paired with matching silk blouse. She accessorized with an ivory Ralph Lauren clutch purse and a subtle pop of color with pewter open-toe heels.
Every year the event is hosted to recognise the talent among writers of fiction, nonfiction, poetry, translated literature and young people’s literature.
This year’s ceremony was hosted by actor, producer, director, and podcaster LeVar Burton, while Oprah Winfrey was honored as a special guest. The Reading Rainbow host was named as Drew Barrymore’s replacement in the mid-October.
Among other attendees, includes Kerry Washington, Emma Roberts, and Karah Preiss.
