James Middleton and Alizee Thevenet chose a rather unique for their son, which apparently has (fictional) royal ties.

On Friday, Kate Middleton’s brother took to his Instagram to share the first image of her son. The post also revealed that the baby is named ‘Inigo’.

The new dad wrote, “He has been in our lives for just a few weeks but they have been the most special of my life getting to know our beautiful baby boy.” He added that he was not ready for the overwhelming emotion he felt as he welcomed his son with wife Alizee.

According to NameBerry, Inigo is of Spanish/Basque origin and means “fiery.”

Many might recall the name from The Princess Bride, William Goldman’s 1973 novel that inspired a popular 1987 film adaption. The character was famous for his line, “Hello. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die.” It was played by Mandy Patinkin in the movie.
