Israeli PM Office release names of hostages released by Hamas


Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office has issued a statement confirming the release of 24 hostages by Hamas. In the statement, which mentions the names of the hostages, it says, “The Israeli government embraces our citizens returning home.”

It added, “The Israeli government is committed to the return of all abductees and missing persons.”

It also mentioned that the freed hostages were first taken for an initial medical examination, while their families were informed that they were back.


The statement also confirmed the release of 11 foreign nationals.

The names of the hostages freed are as follows:

Asher family: Doron Katz Asher, 34, Raz Asher, 4, and Aviv Asher, 2.

Aloni family: Daniele Aloni, 45, Emilia Aloni, 6.

Monder family: Ruth Monder, 78, Keren Munder, 54, Ohad Munder, 9.

Among the other freed hostages include Adina Moshe, 72, Hanna Katzir, 76, Margalit Mozes, 77, Channah Peri, 79, Yafa Adar, 85.

As a part of the deal, Israel has also released 39 Palestinian prisoners. Earlier, in the day, Hamas had release a group of 24 hostages which included 13 Israel citizens, 10 Thai nationals, and one citizen of Philadelphia.
