Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared, on Saturday, that the country is “at war,” after the militants from Gaza launched deadly barrage of rockets and sent gunmen into Israeli territory.
“Citizens of Israel, we are at war – not in an operation, not in rounds – at war,” said Netanyahu in video message.

Gaza attacked the country during the early hours of the day and as per Israel Defense Forces (IDF), the rockets attacks was “massive.” It claimed life of at least one person and left more than hundred injured, as per data from two hospitals.
Hamas, a Palestinian militant group, which controls over Gaza, has claimed responsibility for the attacks and called for a general uprising against Israel.
“If you have a gun, get it out. This is the time to use it – get out with trucks, cars, axes, today the best and most honorable history starts,” said Muhammad Al-Deif, the commander of Hamas, in a recorded message.
