Fossil has launched an exclusive limited-edition accessories collection inspired by the classic film “Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory” ahead of the release of the Timothée Chalamet-led adaptation “Wonka” next month. The collection draws imagery and elements from the original 1971 film and includes a variety of charming items.
The standout items in this collection are two limited-edition watches, available on the popular Carraway ($220) and Raquel ($195) platforms. The Wonka Bar Carraway watch features a dimensional chocolate bar-inspired dial and a caseback etched with an official Golden Ticket. It comes packaged with a gold bracelet and a chocolate bar-themed silicone strap, offering a whimsical touch.
Inspired by the film’s iconic lickable wallpaper, the Raquel watch boasts a leather fruit-patterned strap and a memorable quote from the movie engraved on the caseback. Both watches are presented in exclusive packaging resembling a chocolate bar in the iconic Willy Wonka wrapper and include an official certificate of authenticity, mirroring the famous Golden Ticket from the film.
Melissa Lowenkron, chief brand officer of Fossil, expressed excitement about paying tribute to “Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory,” highlighting the story’s timeless connection across generations. She emphasized the collection’s focus on honoring the whimsy and adventure of the classic film while incorporating a modern and elevated design aesthetic.
Beyond watches, the collection extends to hand-beaded handbags, a Golden Ticket keyfob ($45), and special-edition jewelry pieces like a statement signet ring ($70) featuring a miniature Willy Wonka Golden Ticket atop the design. Additionally, there are studs set ($145), necklace ($155), and bracelet ($145) adorned with colorful, fruit-shaped crystals. A faceted crystal pendant filled with floating clear crystals and a tiny bottle inspired by the iconic Fizzy Lifting Drink ($135) are also available for enthusiasts of the film and collectors alike.
