Martin Lawrence and Roberta Moradfar, who were engaged for six years, have reportedly called off their engagement. Moradfar first announced their engagement on Instagram in 2017, sharing photos of the happy couple and her engagement ring. This would have been Lawrence’s third marriage. He was previously married to Patricia Southall and Shamicka Gibbs, with whom he has children.
Lawrence and Moradfar made their public debut as a couple in 2014 and were seen together at various events over the years. However, in December 2022, Moradfar confirmed the end of their engagement and introduced her new boyfriend on Instagram. The identity of her new beau has not been disclosed.
Despite the breakup, it seems there is no animosity between Lawrence and Moradfar. They still follow each other on social media, and Moradfar continues to have a positive relationship with Lawrence’s children. Both Lawrence and Moradfar have expressed affection for each other in the past, and it appears they ended things on good terms.
Since the split, Lawrence has been focusing on spending time with family, working on projects, and achieving career milestones. He received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in April 2022.
