Cardi B and Offset sued over $85K worth of damages at a property they rented in LA

Cardi B and Offset have been sued for allegedly damaging a rental home they stayed at in Los Angeles.

As per the reports by Us Weekly, citing court documents, the former couple is being sued for breach of contract and negligence by the owner of the property. The owner has claimed that Cardi and Offset had occupied the place for 20 months and vacated the premises in October, “without notice.” The documents also claimed that the rappers did not pay rent or utilities for a “period of time.”

Post their exit from the property, the owner has claimed that there were significant damages, which included broken furniture, holes in the wall, and permanent scratches and stains to the limestone tile floor, rugs, and curtains. As per the filing, there were also burn marks on counters, tables, and cabinets.

The cost of repair is estimated to be around $85,000. The owner has claimed that both Cardi and Offset have “ignored” multiple attempts made to resolve the matter.

The news of the lawsuit comes after Cardi has confirmed split from Offset, following rumors of unfaithfulness on latter’s part.
