Billie Eilish shared that she is “physically attracted” to women in a new interview, after years of enduring often invasive speculations over her sexuality.

In an interview with Variety, the Grammy winner singer got candid to discuss her relationships with women. “I’ve never really felt like I could relate to girls very well.” She continued that she loves women as people and in the same way is attracted to them.

“I have deep connections with women in my life, the friends in my life, the family in my life. I’m physically attracted to them. But I’m also so intimidated by them and their beauty and their presence,” said the Oscar winner singer – songwriter.

Billie decided to open up regarding her personal detail with hopes that this would put an end to any accusations of “queerbating” – a term which is generally used for LGBTQ+, not real, people when they are exploring their sexuality.

The accusations of ‘queerbating’ begin surfing online after her music video ‘Lost Cause’ featured her and several girls being flirtatious at a slumber party. The singer responded with a screenshot of the video and wrote, “I love girls.”
