Biden’s campaign intensifies attacks on Trump comparing the latter to Hitler

Comparing a political opponent to Adolf Hitler would seem like an extraordinary step in most situations, however, it has just become quite regular for President Joe Biden to run it against Donald Trump.

In response to his New Hampshire rally on Saturday, the former president said the undocumented immigrants were “poisoning the blood of our country,” the Biden campaign aide charged with monitoring Trump immediately circulated the comments to staffers, according to senior officials.

Within hours, a statement was released by the campaign attacking Trump for having “channeled his role models as he parroted Adolf Hitler, praised Kim Jong Un, and quoted Vladimir Putin while running for the president on a promise to rule as a dictator and threaten American democracy.”

This marked the fourth time that the Biden campaign has linked Trump’s statement to Hitler, and it probably won’t be the last. The president’s team has been ramping up attacks on the former president, as it is likely for them to have a rematch in the upcoming 2024 presidential election.
