Are Trey and Riah from The Ultimatum still together now?

During The Ultimatum, Trey and Riah embarked on a reality television-style “journey,” beginning on opposite pages and concluding – spoiler alert! – with a ring.

According to the plot, Trey gave his girlfriend the ultimatum because, in contrast to her, he was prepared for marriage and eager to settle down, while she was hesitant to commit to that degree of commitment. Their divergent perspectives on where they would live (she was eyeing a relocation to the city) and whether or not they anticipated having children in the future appeared to be the root of Riah’s worries. She also expressed a wish for him to organise more date evenings and intensify the connection.

Trey and Riah wound up in a straight couple swap for the trial marriage stage of the programme, much like Roxanne and Antonio did. Ryann and Trey were placed together, but Riah ultimately went with Ryann’s ex-partner James.

Trey and Riah undoubtedly had different experiences. Trey experienced all aspects of what married life might be like with someone else while spending time with Ryann, even to the point of “catching feelings” while they were together. James and Riah were having a hard time connecting on a deeper level; all she wanted was a hug!

Trey was at the top of his game when it came to organising date evenings and making an effort when he and Riah reconnected for their own trial marriage. Riah was also much more emotionally honest, which sparked some significant and illuminating discussions between the two of them.

However, Riah said that she was having trouble moving over Trey’s revelation of affection for Ryann. But Trey tried to convince her that it was she—rather than Ryann—with whom he wanted to end the show because Ryann was so preoccupied with her first love, James.

Trey and Riah from The Ultimatum: Are they still together now?

Trey was at the top of his game when it came to organising date evenings and making an effort when he and Riah reconnected for their own trial marriage. Riah was also much more emotionally honest, which sparked some significant and illuminating discussions between the two of them.

However, Riah said that she was having trouble moving over Trey’s revelation of affection for Ryann. But Trey tried to convince her that it was she—rather than Ryann—with whom he wanted to end the show because Ryann was so preoccupied with her first love, James.

On decision day, Trey kept his promise to Riah and fulfilled his original reason for participating in the programme.

“I want you to know, from the bottom of my heart, I love you more than ever now,” Trey told her as he popped the question.

He also said that he wanted “to go through everything” with her, adding: “I want to spend every day of the rest of my life with you.”

Riah had earlier promised the cameras that she would use her judgment while making the choice rather than following her heart. She acknowledged after hearing Trey’s statements that she didn’t wish to experience “any ups or any downs with anybody else” before deciding and responding “yes”.

“We could never have these kind of conversations, it would always end ugly,” he told hosts Nick and Vanessa Lachey. “Now we’re having those conversations on a regular basis.”
