Are the ghosts in A Haunting in Venice actual spirits? Kenneth Branagh’s Poirot is returning for a new adventure that will push the great investigator to his limits after solving a murder on the Orient Express and a death on the Nile.
Poirot, the famous investigator, attempts to investigate a murder at a seance in “A Haunting in Venice,” even as he begins to doubt all of his beliefs about this world and the afterlife. We had a lot of fun with the ghost movie even though it won’t rank among the top films on anyone’s list, but we do have one query.

Are the ghosts real in A Haunting in Venice?
There is uncertainty over the presence of spirits in A Haunting In Venice. Poirot experiences a lot of supernatural-sounding sights and sounds throughout the movie, but because he’s been poisoned with honey, he dismisses them as hallucinations.
Despite this, we witness the ghost of Alicia Drake dragging her mother off the roof as Poirot confronts the murderer, Maxime Gerard, on top of her palazzo. Was Poirot still having hallucinations, or did the ghostly girl come back to Earth to exact her vengeance? We chose to think that the spirits were real, however, we assume that interpretation is ultimately up to you.
