Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak hospitalised possibly due to stroke in Mexico, local media reports

Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak was hospitalised in Mexico City on Wednesday, possibly due to suffering a heart attack, as per Mexican media outlets. However, it was reported by TMZ, citing sources, that the illness was rather less worrying bout of vertigo.

The 73-year-old scientist and tech entrepreneur was scheduled to attend the World Business Forum event in the Mexican capital’s Santa Fe neighborhood on Wednesday afternoon.

Event organisers did not immediately respond to the request for comment over the incident.

Wozniak was set to speak at the conference at 4.20 pm local time.

However, it has not been verified over why Wozniak was hospitalised.

As reported by TMZ, citing sources with direct knowledge of the incident, Wozniak complained to his wife about “feeling strange” post completing his speech. He was then advised by his wife to go to the hospital.

The news outlet reported that Wozniak may have suffered vertigo.
